The defendant attended a birthday dinner and consumed approximately six bottles of beer. Believing his residence was "only ten minutes away", he drove and was stopped at a routine sobriety checkpoint. A blood test showed 142mg/100ml, well above the 80mg/100ml criminal threshold. He fully cooperated, pleaded guilty, and had no prior record in China.

The court convicted the defendant of dangerous driving under Article 133-1 of the Criminal Law and, considering his guilty plea, sentenced him to two months of criminal detention and a fine of ¥4,000. His driving license was revoked with no re-application for five years. The court did not impose deportation, but noted the criminal record could affect future visa and residence permit applications.
