You may terminate the contract AND claim severance if the employer, among other things, fails to pay wages on time or in full, fails to pay social insurance, does not provide agreed working conditions, uses illegal rules that harm you, or induced the contract by fraud or coercion. If forced to work by violence/threats or ordered to do unsafe work, you may leave immediately without prior notice.

用人单位有下列情形之一的，劳动者可以解除劳动合同并要求经济补偿：未按约定提供劳动保护或劳动条件；未及时足额支付劳动报酬；未依法缴纳社会保险费；规章制度违法损害劳动者权益；以欺诈、胁迫手段订立合同等。以暴力、威胁强迫劳动或违章指挥危及安全的，劳动者可立即解除且无需事先告知。
